Talk of weight loss and most people seem to be too focused on the eatables. They immediately wish to take more information on the foods they can and they can’t eat to help them lose weight. And to their credit, some of them even start implementing. But, drinks play an important part too. If you wish to lose weight, you also need to focus on the fluids you drink, sadly the advice on which is not forthcoming.

Of course, talk of drinks that will help you lose weight and water finds a mention almost everywhere. They are low in sugar, have almost 0 addition to the calorie count of the body. Simply put, water is the best recommendation if you wish to lose weight.

There are quite some other drinks, which might figure in our daily To-Drink list. In a simple sentence, if these drinks can be described, it would be – They are not half as effective in the objective.

You can take 220 ml cups of coffee and make an addition of about 15 calories and 1 gram of fat. Take a can of coke and you will add about 140 calories to your body. And yes, the ALL TOO POPULAR spirits – 125 ml of wine adds 120 calories and half a pint of beer may add about 110 calories depending on the type of beer you drink! Other spirits like Whiskey, Vodka etc do no favour on our body by adding about 150 calories with consumption of 60 ml of the spirit.

Really, apart from water no other fluid can be deemed healthy. Why – Even 5 cups of tea, which you might be having daily is said to add about 50 calories.

Not for one moment though are we saying that you have to stop drinking these fluids. Even if you have to drink them, do it in moderate quantities. Fluids like the spirits and soft drinks may go nice for your taste buds, but not without a reason.
